Project Overview
A specialized marketing group within Citrix focused on partner marketing sought to enhance their visibility and recruitment efforts by organizing country-wide information-sharing and recruitment events. To achieve this, they aimed to create a dynamic microsite dedicated to promoting their various "Symposiums," effectively informing potential partners about the benefits of attending while moving away from their existing, limited one-page blog that lacked engagement features. As the primary designer for this project, I prioritized gathering comprehensive information and insights by meeting with key stakeholders to discuss the site's primary purpose, specific goals, target audience, and their overall expectations. During these discussions, I also requested examples of competitor sites that had inspired them, which offered valuable perspectives on their vision for the new microsite. With a clearer understanding of their needs, I developed a straightforward sitemap to outline the site's structure and primary navigation, ensuring that users could easily access essential information. I then proceeded to brainstorm design concepts using the existing content, imagery, and graphics provided by the team, incorporating elements that aligned with their branding. Once I had a range of design options, I reviewed them with the stakeholders, encouraging their input to refine the direction of the project and ensure that the final design met their expectations while also effectively appealing to prospective partners.
