01. PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of the merger between Citrix Systems and Tibco in 2022 to form Cloud Software Group, several business units were established from the Tibco and Citrix product portfolios. Some of these business units were actually acquisitions from Citrix and Tibco in prior years before the merger. One of these acquisitions was Spotfire, which became a part of the Tibco product portfolio and subsequently inherited the Tibco brand. With Spotfire now being it’s own business unit, it needed a new visual identity and website. I was tasked to lead the design of the overall look and feel of the website, using an existing color palette from their product team, as well as a few visual elements which they wanted to keep so it connected visually to their product look and feel. In collaboration with a UX designer, content strategist, writer and our small development team, we essentially designed and built the site from the ground up in a matter of 4 months leveraging some existing components and content management system.
