UX Workshop

UX/UI DESIGN

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I participated in a UX workshop for the Citrix Creative Services team to learn the fundamentals and techniques of User Experience Design and the importance of UX in all aspects of traditional and digital design. As part of the workshop, we were divided into groups of 4 and tasked with re-designing our corporate website using the concepts and tools presented in the workshop. We were required to document all the phases of the design process from discovery and research to high-fidelity design comps.

PROCESS

Card Sort
We focused on developing the information architecture by identifying certain types of content and or functionality that can lead to categorization structures, navigation and user journeys.

Site Map
We roughly mapped out the overall site structure and main navigation as well as defined the major sections of the site including specific pieces of content in each section.

Paper Prototype
We created low-fidelity interface mockups of a few key interactions that we can iterate on to test different concepts for navigation and user flow.

Wireframe Sketches
I went ahead, based on all the data we gathered to roughly wireframe a UI concept for the homepage and a product page that reflects a user friendly IA and interactions/navigation system.
